Ada’s Kitchen – A Commercial Remodel in Rockland, Maine
The building at 435 Main St. in Rockland, ME has been a lot of things over the years, including a speakeasy! Back in 2014, The Potter Building Company was asked to renovate the bottom three floors of the building to transform the space one more time and create a market and a restaurant. Ada’s Kitchen became that restaurant.
For this project we were tasked with creating an inviting, more upscale bar and pasta restaurant on the main street level, as well as a take out counter and casual eat in area for pizza in the lower floor, and of course the kitchen space. Plus, this all had to come together in a way that would meet both the needs of the restaurant staff and those of the patrons.
You can see how it all worked out below! More on the initial stages of the building’s remodel can bee seen on this page.
