A Complete Remodel in Rockland, Maine

Although this project was technically called a remodel, it turned out to be nearly a completely new home once complete.

The lot is located at a lovely site in the working waterfront area of Rockland, Maine. It has expansive views of The Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse and out to the islands beyond. But the home that had been on that lot left a lot to be desired – including only a handful of small windows on the side of the house with a view of the water.

Our clients wanted to do something very different. You can see in the images the home now takes full advantage of the expansive views the lot affords by using beautiful windows throughout, but also by including an uppder deck and a large front porch. And this is just one of many changes and additions the new owners made.

As you view the photos you can see the full transformation that took place and you’ll probably agree that the structure you see on that lot today is essentially a completely new home.
